General Info on Fireworks shows
July 4th in the USA for Independence Day and July 1st in Canada for Canada are the days for fireworks displays, especially in large cities and rural towns. Many communities have displays at other times of the year since it is hard to compete with neighboring towns and fireworks are great entertainment to build a festival around.
Victoria Day in eastern English speaking Canada is big for consumer fireworks while Holloween is big in Western Canada. Christmas and New Year's Eve in the Southeast USA is big with many communities having large displays then. New Year's Eve has many shows around the world and every Chinatown and Asian country has fireworks on their Lunar New Year.
