A&E's Pop Goes the 4th is an annual live program of the concert with the Boston Pops and fireworks over the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts USA. 7:30 PM EDT (-5 GMT). Repeats twice that evening.

Discovery Magazine Keep of the Forbidden Flame

The Discovery Channel. Check the schedule for shows like Amazing America with a segment about the 1994 PGI Convention, The Know Zone and Beyond 2000 for segments about fireworks, rockets and other energetic materials. They also have some articles online too. Playing with Fire describes one of the many individual pyro artists who develop many of the innovative creations seen in the sky.

The PBS show NOVA Kaboom has a page about fireworks and explosives with some interesting animations.

History

Guy Fawkes Day. A brief look at this unique English celebration of the 1605 plot by Guy Fawkes to blow up King James I and Parliament with bonfires and fireworks.

Center For Fawkesian Pursuits has an interesting page with all sorts of info regarding or related to Guy Fawkes, including a history of Guy Fawkes and his Day!. This site is especially for those who think terrorism and bombings are "new" or a recent phenomena of political or social unrest. Not!
