Requests for Info Page

Thanks for your query, but before you send an e-mail ...

please read the following carefully!

We typically receive dozens of requests daily for information and do not have time to respond to all of them. This is one reason we took the time to publish the pages and put together links to other pages in the first place!

If there is something specific about fireworks or pyrotechnic special effects (SPFX) that we or others haven't covered in their pages, please let us know and we'll do the best we can to get an answer back to you, or try direct you to who might be able to.

We've also started a FAQ as well, which should help since so many of the queries are similar.

We are NOT a reference library desk or fireworks directory assistance!

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. We do NOT supply "free" catalogs, price lists, or directories of fireworks companies! If you want to know what companies are where, what they have and how to contact them, purchase the latest AFN North American or International Trade Directories, or Burning Sage Publishing's Fireworks Dealers of the USA.
  2. None of the products or items the companies we represent are available to minors, so if you aren't 18 or older (21 for some purchases), please don't bug us. We didn't write the laws but we must and will abide by them!
  3. If you are an adult and want to make a purchase of display fireworks, you will be required to provide proof of age, sign waivers and/or provide the documentation that you have the proper licenses and/or permits for what you are purchasing. It isn't that much work or that difficult to do, but it does take a little time and effort to take care of the paperwork. See Tom Dimock's excellent Getting Legal Pages.
  4. We don't know where you can buy M-80s or the powder that goes into them so you can make your own, so don't ask! We also won't tell you where you can find out more about "kewl bombs," or "recipes" and "cookbooks" or other such nonsense. Most of these are poorly written, leave out critical information and put you and anyone around you when you are fooling around with them at grave risk.

If you are:

then please provide the details (who, what, when, where and why) so we can respond to your query for information appropriately.

One final note:

You know who we are, where we are, what we have and what we do. As a common courtesy when you contact anyone, no matter whether you learned of them on the Net or from a phone book or from a tip from a friend, before you make your request , it is simply polite to say;

"Hello. I am _______________ (full name) from _______________________________ (company or organization) in __________________ (city and state or complete address with phone, fax and e-mail if in writing).
I found out about you from ________________ (name of source) and I am interested in ________________________________________________________________________.(purpose)."

For more about this, see Fireworks Tips.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!
